Who is Kate Shindle you ask?  Kate Shindle is most famous for winning Miss America in 1998, where she represented the state of Illinois.  She was born Jan 31, 1977 in Toledo Ohio, and has since went on to become an actress, singer, and dancer.  Kate Shindle has a very talented background in music also, where she played violin in the first chair position for the musical orchestra's version of  'Fiddler on the Roof' . 

Kate Shindle graduated from Northwestern University in 1999 with a bachelors degree in theatre.  In 2007 she became an original cast member of the Broadway Musical, 'Legally Blonde' based on the 2001 Reese Witherspoon film.  Kate Shindle is also an Aids activist and spends a lot of time on Aids rights and research for cures.

Kate Shindles musical career began in 1999 when she recorded and released her first CD 'Christmases to come', her first CD featured the Chicago jazz ensemble Skip Sams Society Sound, and was used to promote and raise money for Aids awareness.  In 2003 Kate released her second CD entitled 'Till Today', produced by Skip Sams, in 2005 Kate Shindle recorded Frank Wildhorn's 'Dracula' followed by 'Jeckyll & Hyde - Resurrection in 2006.
